For this tutorial you will need
psp (written in 9) any version should work
Scrapkit - Fright Night from Candys Treats HERE
Halloween Mask Nr2 by Vaybs HERE
Filters
Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - constellation
Toadies - blast 'em
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow
Fonts Donree's Claws and Nightmare
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of psp
OK Lets create!
Open blank canvas 700 x 700
Floodfill white
New raster layer
Floodfill with orange/green fore/background gradient, angle 45, repeats 2
Apply Vaybs mask, merge group
Copy and paste spookyTree2 as new layer, line up on mask along the bottom and to the right
Duplicate
On original tree layer Effects - Toadies - Blast 'em default settings
On duplicated tree - Effects - Eye candy 4000 - gradient glow with following settings
Copy, paste, resize & sharpen the following elements as new layers and arrange to your liking
Frankenstien2 - resize by 30%
Flowerpot - resize by 20%
Witch 4 - resize by 30%
Black Cat - resize by 20% (I selected the white border with my magic wand and deleted it, then added my own gradient glow as previously)
Bat 7 - resize by 20%
Add dropshadow 2, 3 50, 8 to all layers except the mask and blast layers
Copy and paste Ghost as new layer - resize by 20% - sharpen
duplicate twice
Mirror one of the duplicates
Arrange around your tree to your liking
Dropshadow all ghost layers
Add your name and halloween message (I used Donree's claws for my 'Happy Halloween' and Nightmare5 for my name)
Add gradient glow and drop shadow as before
Add the scrappers copyright (unless you are using an artists tube of course)
Merge all flatten
Resize by 86%
Copy and paste spider as new layer - resize by 20%
Duplicate twice
Hide top two spider layers
On bottom spider - Effects - Xenofex2 - Constellation with following settings
Repeat constellation on other 2 spider layers, hitting random seed each time.
Now to animate
hide top 2 spider layers, copy merged
paste as new animation in Animation Shop
Back to psp - hide bottom spider, unhide middle spider, copy merged
paste after current frame in Animation Shop
Back to psp - hide middle spider, unhide top spider, copy merged
paste after current frame in Animation Shop
Save as gif and your done.
